Russian Strikes on Ukrainian Companies

According to ХВИЛЯ: Moscow has designated Ukrainian companies involved in missile technology development as primary targets for military action. President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed this, warning of potential military, political, and propaganda attacks. He shared these remarks on social media following a briefing by Major General Oleh Ivashchenko, head of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate.

According to the intelligence report, Russia views Ukraine's ability to produce its own ballistic missile systems and localize anti-ballistic defense manufacturing as a strategic threat. Ukrainian intelligence has gathered data on facilities, distances, production capacities, and supply routes for critical components and machinery. The report also identifies foreign individuals and companies assisting Russia in circumventing sanctions. Additionally, military intelligence has obtained new internal Russian documents related to political planning.

Appeals for Support and Updated Countermeasures

Zelensky called on Europe to significantly ramp up support for nations under Russian pressure, specifically mentioning Armenia ahead of its upcoming elections. The president stated,

“We will respond”

and emphasized the need to increase pressure on Russia. He added that this is not merely about a nation's political choice but about the fundamental right of people to determine their own future.

Amid these developments, Ukraine is preparing to update its countermeasures independently and in coordination with its partners. One of Moscow's primary objectives remains limiting Ukraine's security, economic, and other strategic ties with Moldova, the South Caucasus states, the Middle East, and the Gulf region.

These events highlight the escalating tensions in the region as Ukraine works to bolster its defense capabilities amid heightened threats from Russia. The intelligence gathered by the Ukrainian side reveals the Kremlin's serious intent to dismantle Ukraine's missile technology potential, which could have far-reaching consequences for the security of Ukraine and its neighboring countries. In this context, Zelensky's calls for international support may prove critical in shaping an effective response to Russia's aggressive actions.

As tensions rise, Moscow may be gearing up for a significant military offensive against Ukraine, potentially utilizing the Oreshnik missile system. This development underscores the urgency for Ukraine to bolster its defense strategies and highlights the critical nature of international support in countering Russian aggression.
