In the South Slobozhansky direction, Russian troops have increased their combat activity, noted spokesman of the operational-tactical group 'Kharkiv' Pavel Shamshin. The number of enemy assaults has significantly increased in the Vovchansk area, with attacks becoming particularly intense, he said. Specifically, 'On Wednesday, 25 assault actions were recorded in the direction, whereas just two months ago, there were only 5-7 on average. This indicates a significant activation of Russian forces.' Ukrainian defenders continue to hold positions near Vovchansk, preventing any retreat despite the endless enemy attacks. For more than a year, Russian troops have been trying to push the defenders across the river, but they have not succeeded. The situation in the area of the settlement Dvorichne also remains tense, as the occupiers attempt to cross to the western bank of the Oskol River using wooden logs. 'The Ukrainian defense forces are doing everything possible to destroy such crossings and halt the enemy's advance,' Shamshin concluded. According to DeepState, Russian troops have already occupied the villages Milove and Stroyivka in the Kharkiv region. The occupiers continue to advance near several settlements in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, managing to take control of two more villages.
