Russians strengthen offensive actions in the Zaporizhzhia direction: details from Syrsky

Syrsky is keeping control over the direction towards Zaporizhzhia

According to glavcom.ua: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reported that he is closely monitoring the situation in the dangerous directions of the front, particularly in Zaporizhzhia. He noted that although there are fewer battles here than in other places, the enemy is still intensifying attacks.

“There are fewer combat actions here than in other areas, but the opponent is strengthening offensive actions in the area of the settlement of Kamyanske, actively using guided aerial bombs, artillery, strike drones, and small assault groups.”

Considering the intensification of the occupiers, Syrsky held a meeting with the units defending Zaporizhzhia. He issued the relevant instructions to address problems and improve coordination among military units.

“We know the plans of the Russian occupiers. We are taking measures to improve coordination between military units and strengthen formations to ensure the solidity of the defense and not allow the enemy to approach Zaporizhzhia.”

Situation on the front in Zaporizhzhia

It is important to note that earlier the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia region, which allowed the Ukrainian military to continue moving forward. The operation was successful without losses among Ukrainian warriors.

Also, in the Christmas direction, Russian troops are preparing for an assault, while in the Huliaipole direction, the Russian army is attacking the Malynivka area in Zaporizhzhia with the aim of cutting off the logistics of the Defense Forces.
