Russian forces changed tactics in the Kupiansk direction: what it threatens
According to hvylya.net: Russian occupiers from the 116th separate mechanized brigade have changed their tactics in the Kupiansk direction. Officer Valery Kiselev reported that they are now conducting infantry attacks less frequently, but have increased shelling by artillery and drone attacks.
'They use them to bypass the areas of destruction where our drones operate. However, this rarely ends successfully for them,' emphasized a representative of the 116th brigade.
In particular, the Russians have started to actively use light equipment - motorcycles and ATVs - to get through the shelling zones where Ukrainian drones operate more quickly. Nevertheless, even these attempts meet with strong resistance.
According to the officer, despite the changes in tactics, the enemies continue to attack, mainly using infantry.
Russian occupiers in the Kupiansk direction have shifted tactics from infantry attacks to artillery shelling and drone attacks. They are also using light equipment more actively, which allows them to move through areas where Ukrainian drones operate faster. Despite these changes, Ukrainian forces are holding their positions and do not allow the enemy to act unhindered.
