According to glavcom.ua: The occupying forces of Russia continue to pressure the cities of Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region from three directions. Small groups of occupiers are trying to penetrate to the north of Pokrovsk, but Ukrainian defenders are stopping their attempts.

The commander of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces, Yevhen Lasyiuchyk, reported that the Russians have changed their tactics of assault, starting continuous attacks with infantry in Pokrovsk.

In this section of the front, since September, the Russian army has lost nearly 6,500 servicemen. The occupiers have engaged the 76th Air Assault Division for battles in Pokrovsk, transferring units from the Zaporizhia direction.

Forecast for the future

It is expected that by the New Year, Russian troops will attempt to strengthen their offensive and will involve equipment for assaults. At the same time, soldiers of the 25th Separate Air Assault Brigade demonstrated rare footage of battles in Pokrovsk, where the troops are constantly repelling enemy attacks using FPV drones for storming defenses.

Active defense

The defense forces of Pokrovsk eliminated the former 'Minister of Youth, Sports, and Tourism of the DPR' Mykhailo Mishin. Hostilities in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration area continue, but in Pokrovsk itself, the Ukrainian army successfully regained control over more than 16 sq. km in the northern part of the city.

In response to the aggression of Russian troops in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian defenders continue to actively defend their territory and inflict significant losses on the enemy. Russian troops are trying to use new tactics and equipment, but all attempts are being blocked for now. The situation remains tense, and Ukraine's defensive forces are ready for further repelling of enemy attacks.
