Attacks on Kyiv and Other Regions

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: Russia launched a large-scale assault on Kyiv, using ballistic missiles, rockets, and drones. The attack resulted in 13 deaths and over 80 injuries. Residential neighborhoods were deliberately targeted, affecting thousands of people. Several high-rise apartment buildings were completely leveled to their foundations. Nearly every district of the capital suffered damage from the Russian bombardment.

Strikes Across Multiple Regions

Over the past 24 hours, attacks also hit Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, the Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and other areas. Emergency crews and specialized rescue services are working at all impact sites, as people may still be trapped under the rubble. Operational command centers have been set up to coordinate aid for the victims.

“These are more war crimes, this is terrorism,” an observer emphasized.

These strikes on residential zones in Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine highlight an escalation in the conflict and worsening humanitarian consequences. Targeting civilian infrastructure sparks international outrage and condemnation, as it violates core principles of international humanitarian law. As rescue teams continue their work at the strike locations, it is critical to provide support to the victims and their families while investigations into these war crimes proceed.

My condolences go out to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives.
