Ongoing Threats to Regional Infrastructure

Since the full-scale invasion began, DTEK’s thermal power plants have been targeted in over 230 Russian attacks. Coal enterprises in the Dnipropetrovsk area, including those operated by DTEK, have repeatedly come under fire, highlighting the persistent dangers facing the region’s critical infrastructure.

This recent assault underscores the alarming reality that vital facilities continue to be vulnerable amid the ongoing conflict. Repeated strikes on coal operations jeopardize not only the local economy but also the safety of residents. Authorities and emergency services remain actively engaged in managing the aftermath of such attacks and providing medical support to those affected.
