According to Главком: Advisor to the Minister of Defense, Serhiy Beskrestnov (Flash), has confirmed that a Russian BM-35 drone, controlled via the Starlink satellite system, was detected in Dnipro. He noted that this drone is fuel-powered and possesses a flight range of up to 500 kilometers. This incident highlights the increasing sophistication of drone warfare in the ongoing conflict.

'Unlike the Molniya, this UAV is fuel-powered and can fly up to 500 kilometers,' emphasized Serhiy Beskrestnov.

Serhiy Beskrestnov, who was appointed as an advisor to Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov in early 2026, also detailed other aspects of drone use in military operations. He revealed that half of the drones used by Russian forces to strike the Kyvel-Kyiv railway were equipped with magnetic mines. These mines were dropped onto the snow, complicating detection efforts.
