A Russian strike occurred in Kharkiv, resulting in one death and nine injuries. The strike targeted a kindergarten and nearby buildings in the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city. Six cars, a store, a cafe, and an office building were severely damaged, and three fires broke out. The largest fire source was in the kindergarten, where 48 children were present at the time of the strike and were promptly evacuated. A large number of rescuers, medics, police, and volunteers were involved in eliminating the aftermath. The President of Ukraine expressed his outrage regarding these events. The Russian side claims that the strike is a response to Ukraine's terrorist acts on its own territory.
