Russian astronaut removed from flight due to attempt to take SpaceX secrets
According to The Insider, astronaut Oleg Artemyev was removed from the flight to the ISS after he attempted to take secret SpaceX documentation. Eyewitness Georgy Trishkin confirmed this information, claiming that Artemyev photographed the documents and transmitted them using his phone.
"My sources confirm that a violation occurred, and an investigation has been initiated. The removal from the flight two and a half months before the launch without explanation is quite a telling incident"
Trishkin noted that it is hard to imagine a space veteran like Artemyev making such a mistake. NASA refrained from commenting but indicated that it does not want to make this a matter of public concern. However, Andriy Fedyaev is set to take the place of the removed astronaut.
A scandal also occurred at the Baikonur cosmodrome - part of the service cabin collapsed after the launch of 'Soyuz MS-28'. The details of this incident remain unknown for now.
