Mandatory evacuation from Donetsk: which 19 settlements children are being evacuated from

According to Кулеба: Today at an expanded meeting of the Coordination Headquarters, evacuation measures in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions were discussed. A mandatory evacuation of children along with their parents has been carried out from 19 settlements in Donetsk region. The goal is to make the evacuation process as safe and clear as possible for all involved.

It has been separately decided to evacuate about 200 people with reduced mobility from institutions in Zaporizhzhia region to Chernivtsi region. The authorities are working to ensure proper conditions for their stay in the new place.

Upon arrival at the transit centers, evacuees receive various types of assistance – from medical to legal. The hot line 15-48 is available around the clock for information regarding evacuation and assistance.

Since the beginning of June, more than 147 thousand people have already been evacuated from frontline territories, including more than 17 thousand children and over 5 thousand people with reduced mobility. This is the result of the joint efforts of rescuers, police, non-governmental organizations, volunteers, and international partners. Coordination and cooperation are key components for providing support to each person who finds themselves in a difficult situation.
