Embezzlement of millions on drones: The Appellate Court left two suspects in custody

On November 20, 2025, the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court supported the position of the SAP prosecutor and kept unchanged the preventive measures applied to two suspects in the case of embezzlement of funds during the procurement of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a reminder, in October, these individuals were placed in custody, or had the opportunity to post bail of 12 million UAH and 15 million UAH respectively.
According to the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent until proven guilty by a court.
After investigating the case of embezzlement of funds for the purchase of drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the High Anti-Corruption Court supported the decision to keep the suspects in custody. This indicates the seriousness of the charges and the importance of this case for national security.
