Beyond offering continuous monitoring and feedback, the garment includes a fall detection module that activates in less than half a second. These developments address a critical gap in existing technologies, which tend to prioritize navigation while neglecting emergency alerts and impact protection.

Researcher Renzhen Song from Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology noted that the clothing's warning system remains effective even in complete darkness. However, widespread adoption requires overcoming challenges related to comfort, durability, manufacturing quality, cybersecurity, and data privacy. As the study authors explain:
