The scammer deceived the mother of a fallen soldier for nearly 1 million UAH

According to glavcom.ua: The prosecutor's office of the Vinnytsia region sent an indictment to the court against a Vinnytsia resident who fraudulently acquired more than 1 million hryvnias from the mother of a deceased soldier. The man has several previous convictions for selfish crimes. According to the prosecutor's office, he, along with accomplices, successfully set up a resident of Lviv region to gain access to her state payment for the death of her son-soldier.

The accused made a series of payments from the victim's card, spending almost 970 thousand hryvnias to purchase 18 high-cost mobile phones. Four of them he successfully sold, thus legalizing the money obtained through deceit.
