According to НАЗК: SAP filed a lawsuit with VAKS demanding the recovery of assets belonging to the head of the customs of Transcarpathia and his relatives. The basis for this is the results of NABU's monitoring and evidence collected by SAP prosecutors.
During the monitoring, it was found that the customs officer acquired property and financial resources amounting to over 4 million hryvnias in 2022-2023. Among the assets are cars, cash, and an apartment. Other property was purchased at prices lower than market value but is used by the declarant and his relatives.
Such actions may lead to the confiscation of assets in favor of the state according to the legislation of Ukraine.
