SBU uncovered former State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice for embezzling 10 million: details of the scheme
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, uncovered another scheme for appropriating state funds totaling over 10 million hryvnias. The former State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the leadership of the agency participated in this fraud, for which law enforcement quickly intervened.

In 2021, the defendants entered into a contract with a private company for the purchase of servers and software for 19 million hryvnias, even disregarding the inflated prices. The former state secretary and company leaders have been charged with embezzling property through abuse of office.
Completion of the Investigation
Under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the investigation has been brought to a close. The schemers face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. Law enforcement continues the investigation to hold all those responsible accountable.
