Prevented a series of terrorist attacks in Odesa

According to glavcom.ua: The Security Service of Ukraine prevented new terrorist attacks in Odesa by detaining a Russian agent who was preparing explosives for detonations in the port city. This was reported by the 'Glavkom' portal, citing the SBU.

The agent placed ready explosives in caches along the Black Sea coast and sent their coordinates to the Russian special services. Then, the executors of the terrorist actions would collect the explosives and use them in various locations in the city. One of the perpetrators was already detained in the summer when she was trying to blow up a shopping center in Odesa.

Stolen pensioner

The police established that the Russian agent preparing the explosives is a 60-year-old resident of Odesa, a former sailor who once worked with the FSB. The cooperation began when he was in Russia visiting his sister at the start of the war.

«On assignment from the FSB, the man returned to Odesa through third countries. After arriving in Russia, he carried out the enemy's tasks by making explosives and hiding them in the needed places», - reported the Security Service.
