SBU detained Air Force major for passing on information about F-16: how the traitor was uncovered
The Ukrainian Security Service detained a military major who was passing information about the fighter jets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the enemy and was preparing missile and drone strikes on the territory of the country. This was revealed in the TV program 'We-Ukraine', reports 'Glavkom'.
'I must honestly say that the identification and detention of traitors among the defense forces is always supported by our commander-in-chief Syrskiy. Many operations have been conducted, and if we talk in numbers, there have been 58 such cases,' said Malyuk.
The head of the SBU also reported that many traitors have been identified, who are highly valued by the enemy. For example, during a prisoner exchange, Ukraine handed over a colonel of special operations who cooperated with the GRU to Russia. In response, Russia returned a large group of 'Azov' fighters back to Ukraine.
As a result of the conducted operations, traitors among Ukrainian servicemen have been identified, who passed information to the enemy and prepared attacks on the territory of Ukraine. Such actions pose a threat to national security and confirm the need for increased counterintelligence activities in the country.
