According to glavcom.ua: An unusual event took place at the destroyed power station of DTEK – the Christmas composition 'Shchedryk' was performed by a choir and orchestra right in the machine hall. This was an attempt to draw attention to the needs for the restoration of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure, which has been suffering from attacks and destruction for the fourth consecutive year.
According to DTEK's CEO Maxim Timchenko, Ukrainian energy needs strong and lasting support from international partners, both in restoration and in the protection of critical infrastructure. This event serves as a reminder of the difficult working conditions of the sector and its needs for financing and equipment.
