According to МЗС: Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibyha held a telephone discussion with German Federal Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, focusing on the ongoing conflict and diplomatic efforts. They reviewed the recent exchange between Wadephul and Russia's Foreign Minister at the UN General Assembly, emphasizing their aligned stance on halting hostilities and backing Ukraine.

Sibyha expressed gratitude to Germany for its leadership role in supporting Ukraine, stating:
