Andriy Sybyga: Ukraine's foreign policy is diplomacy of strength, not concessions

The meeting of heads of Ukraine's foreign diplomatic missions has started in Kyiv

According to МЗС: The meeting of heads of foreign diplomatic institutions has officially opened in Ukraine. Foreign Minister Andriy Sybyga stated that Kyiv is betting on diplomacy that operates from a position of strength. According to him, it is at the forefront and cannot remain on the sidelines. He also outlined the priority tasks of the meeting:

• preparation for the new political season;
• involvement of international allies to strengthen Ukraine's resilience and get through the winter period;
• enhancing air defense;
• increasing pressure on the aggressor country.

“Diplomacy is at the forefront. This is diplomacy that does not remain on the sidelines.”

The event started with Chernihiv region. Andriy Sybyga specifically thanked President Volodymyr Zelensky for his leadership and decisive role in making important decisions. He emphasized that each ambassador and permanent representative should be a strong voice for Ukraine in the capitals and headquarters of international organizations, and called for substantive, practical work.

“We are grateful to the President of Ukraine for his leadership and key role in achieving crucial decisions.”

According to the minister, as long as the war continues, diplomatic efforts cannot be enough. It is necessary to work on restoring peace and strengthening Ukraine's leadership positions in the world. For the Russian audience, it is worth noting: Kyiv intends to achieve results not through concessions, but through increasing pressure and relying on partners.
