Drone Forces Disable 412 Energy Facilities Across Occupied Zones and Russia in 2.5 Months

Operation 'Crimean Switch Off'

According to ХВИЛЯ: Over a span of two and a half months, from July 6 to September 22, the Drone Forces achieved a major milestone during Operation 'Crimean Switch Off'. During this campaign, 412 energy hubs across occupied territories and within Russia were successfully targeted. In the second half of September alone, an additional 38 facilities were struck, including:

• 13 in Luhansk region
• 10 in Crimea
• 9 in Donetsk region
• 4 within Russia
• 1 each in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions

In the Donbas area, key power substations were hit, such as the 220 kV 'Amvrosiivka', 110 kV 'Bilovodska' in Luhansk, 'Kotliarevska' in Selydove, and a substation in Mariupol. Targets were revisited in Volodymyrivka and Tarasivka in Luhansk, as well as in Mykhailivka in Donetsk. In Russia’s Oryol region, two 110 kV substations, 'Bolshaya Chern' and 'Znamenska', were also struck.

Crimea saw attacks on ten gas infrastructure sites, including several gas distribution stations:

• 'Bakhchisaray-2'
• 'Bilohirsk'
• 'Orlivka'
• 'Kyr-Baylar'
• 'Islam-Terek'
• 'Klepynine'
• 'Hornostaivka'
• 'Kholmivka' (hit twice)
• and the 'Tasunove' compressor station

Beyond Crimea, the gas distribution stations at 'Rodakove' in Luhansk and 'Kreidyanka' in Russia were also targeted.

Outcomes and Verification

The operation was carried out by nine Drone Forces units, including the 414th Brigade 'Madyar’s Birds', the 412th 'Nemesis', the 427th 'Rarog', the 429th 'Achilles', the 20th 'K-2', the 9th SBS Brigade, the 413th Regiment 'Raid', the 1st Separate SBS Center, and the DPSU group 'Phoenix'. Commander Robert 'Madyar' Brovdi confirmed the results, stating:

“We successfully engaged 38 energy nodes in Crimea, Russian swamps, and in the southern and eastern temporarily occupied territories.” - Robert 'Madyar' Brovdi

He expressed strong confidence in ultimate victory, declaring, ‘We will endure. Moscow will fall.’

To maintain transparency and track progress, the Drone Forces use an online dashboard called 'PIDRAHUYKA', which monitors the units’ achievements in real time.

The conclusion of Operation 'Crimean Switch Off' highlights an intensified campaign by the Drone Forces to disrupt enemy energy infrastructure. Striking a large number of energy hubs in both Ukraine and Russia is expected to significantly impact the operational capabilities of opposing forces. The operation also showcases the use of advanced technologies for monitoring results, enhancing the efficiency of future strategic planning.
