Ukrainian Armed Forces Nearly Completed the Cleansing of Kup'yansk: What Zelensky Reported
The cleansing of the city of Kup'yansk in the Kharkiv region from Russian troops has been completed. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky, citing information from the Commander-in-Chief. According to Zelensky, although there are advances and offensive operations in Russia, none of them have been successful. Difficult battles continue, particularly in Pokrovsk and other directions. The President emphasized that the troops have almost completely liberated Kup'yansk from Russian forces.
Zelensky urged to obtain information about the situation at the front only from official sources, avoiding the media. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuted statements about the occupation of Kup'yansk and Yampil. According to them, Russian invaders do not have full control over these cities.
It turned out that Russian troops simulated control over Kup'yansk, but their groups were scattered. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are grateful to Russian commanders for helping to locate enemy groups.
