The Third Corps Denied the Statement from the Russian Federation about the Capture of Stavky and Novoselivka
The Third Army Corps refuted the information from the Russian Ministry of Defense regarding the alleged capture of two settlements near Lyman in Donetsk region. The command of the 20th Army and the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed the supposed 'capture' of the settlements of Stavky and Novoselivka in the area of responsibility of the 60th Separate Motorized Brigade of the Third Army Corps, but the military considers this merely an attempt by the enemy to manipulate information.
The military reports that the enemy is using an old tactic, trying to demonstrate 'control' over the territory through the infiltration of small groups, which is not actually happening. Ukrainian units systematically eliminate these groups, but representatives of the 20th Army of the Russian Federation continue to report deliberate successes to senior commanders.
The successful actions of the Ukrainian military have also been recorded in Vovchansk, where the fighters of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the 16th Army Corps stopped a Russian sabotage group. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the forces have almost completed the clearing of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region from Russian troops, while in Russia, none of the offensive operations have led to successful outcomes.
