Strikes on Occupied Territories and Russian Soil

According to Главком: Between April 20 and 21, 2023, Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a series of strikes against targets in temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories and within the Russian Federation. These operations successfully hit ammunition depots, command posts, and concentrations of military equipment. This forms part of Ukraine's broader strategy to disrupt Russian supply lines and command structures deep behind the front lines.

Specifically, ammunition storage sites were struck in the areas of the settlements of Mar'yanivka and Lisne in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk Oblast. Another ammunition depot was destroyed near the settlement of Aidar in Luhansk Oblast. Additionally, Ukrainian units hit a command post near Novopavlivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Logistics and Fuel Depots Targeted

On the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast, Ukrainian forces struck warehouses of material and technical supplies in the areas of the settlements of Persianovsky in Rostov Oblast and Novomykolaivka. In the Aidar area of Luhansk Oblast, a fuel and lubricants storage site was also hit. In Russia's Bryansk Oblast, near Klimovo, a concentration of weaponry and military equipment was targeted.

In a separate attack on April 17, 2023, a strike on the Syzran oil refinery in Russia's Samara Oblast damaged an RVS-10000 reservoir, two sections of a technological pipeline, and a primary oil processing unit. Then, on the night of April 21, drones operated by the Alpha Special Operations Center of Ukraine's Security Service caused a fire at the Samara linear production and dispatching station in the settlement of Prosvet, Samara Oblast.

These coordinated strikes demonstrate Ukraine's ongoing active combat operations and its intent to degrade Russian military capabilities. By targeting critical logistics hubs, fuel supplies, and command nodes, Ukraine aims to significantly hinder the enemy's ability to supply its forces and manage operations. The use of long-range drones for precision strikes highlights the evolving nature of modern warfare, where technology enables attacks far from the traditional frontline.

The recent strikes on Russian military infrastructure highlight the ongoing efforts of Ukrainian forces to weaken enemy capabilities.
