According to Главком: A tragic road accident occurred near the village of Khodosivka in the Kyiv region, involving three vehicles: a Nissan, a Tesla, and a Toyota. The driver of the Nissan, a 43-year-old man, lost control of his car, crossed into oncoming traffic, and triggered the crash. One of the Nissan's passengers, a 37-year-old man, died in an ambulance while being rushed to the hospital.
According to law enforcement, the Nissan driver had a blood alcohol level of 2.13 promille. He and a 14-year-old female passenger were hospitalized. The driver has been arrested and placed in a temporary detention facility. A criminal case has been opened against him under Part 3 of Article 286-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which covers fatal traffic accidents committed while intoxicated. This charge carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison, along with a possible driving ban for the same period.
