Fatal Car Accident Near Odessa: Infiniti Driver Lost Control

According to glavcom.ua: On the evening of July 6, 2025, a tragedy occurred on the Odessa – Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi – Monashi highway. The driver of an 'Infiniti' lost control, veered off the road, and died. According to the Odessa regional police, the man was 50 years old.

The investigation of the crime is being conducted by the police of the Odessa region. Special police units are working at the scene. In particular, the investigative-operational groups of the regional police and the patrol police of the Odessa district are present. According to Dmytro Slyuta, the investigation is still ongoing.

Agent of Russian Special Services Arrested in Odessa

Recall that employees of the Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police arrested an agent of the Russian special services who committed a terrorist act in Odessa on the morning of July 5. This information was provided by 'Glavkom' citing the SBU press service.

The suspect in the terrorist act is a 22-year-old resident of Zaporizhia, who already had a criminal past. He was recruited through social media. According to the investigation, the man prepared an explosive device for a vehicle under the guidance of the special services.

As a result of the car accident, the driver of the 'Infiniti' in the Odessa region died, and an agent of the Russian special services who planned the terrorist act in the city was arrested. The police continue the investigation of both incidents to establish all circumstances and causes of these events.
