Shmyhal named the amount needed to cover the deficit in arms purchases
According to hvylya.net: The Ukrainian delegation at the 29th meeting in the 'Ramstein' format outlined its main priorities - strengthening air defense systems. In particular, Defense Minister Olexiy Shmyhal pointed out the need for the supply of Patriot systems and interceptor missiles to protect Ukrainian cities from potential threats.
Regarding financing, Shmyhal stated the need for 6 billion dollars to cover the deficit in purchases this year. This money will be used to expand the production of drones, including FPV drones, interceptor drones, and other long-range weapons.
Shmyhal: 'We need to continue imposing sanctions on the enemy's economy.'
The minister also urged partners to provide stable funding for future years, particularly through the SAFE program. He also announced plans for the development of the initiative 'Building with Ukraine', aimed at attracting Ukrainian companies to joint defense industry projects with partner countries.

During the meeting in the 'Ramstein' format, the Ukrainian delegation addressed a number of important issues. Defense Minister Olexiy Shmyhal noted the need to enhance measures to protect against aerial threats, as well as to continue sanctions against the economies of violators. The planned steps for financing and developing cooperation will also play a key role in strengthening the country's air defense system.
