The government launches 'Winter Support': 1000 hryvnias for every Ukrainian

According to Кабмін: Today, the government approved the mechanism for the 'Winter Support' program and the payment of assistance to citizens, claims the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.

The main goal of the program is to provide assistance to citizens for paying utility bills and meeting basic needs. Every citizen can receive a one-time payment of 1,000 UAH, which will help cover some expenses during the cold season.

To receive assistance, citizens can submit an application from November 15 to June 30, 2026. This can be done through the 'DIIA' application or at a Ukrposhta branch. Funds will be sent to a card or a special account from which they can be spent on various needs.
