Zelensky: Russia Has Struck with Drones Over 1800 Times in a Week
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russia has carried out over 1800 drone strikes in the last seven days, launching more than 1200 guided aerial bombs and 83 missiles. He also noted the successful defensive actions of the air defense system during large-scale attacks.
Zelensky emphasized that despite these attacks, the interceptor drones proved effective, downing many Russian 'Shaheds'.
The president also stressed that the past week was dedicated to the development of interceptor drone technology during discussions with partners. He thanked everyone willing to invest in protecting the lives of Ukrainians and Ukrainian servicemen who 'guard the Ukrainian sky'.
Hopes for Support from Partners to Ensure Ukraine's Security
Zelensky expressed hope for the fulfillment of agreements aimed at strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and expects effective steps from the USA, Europe, the 'G7', and other partners. These measures are critically important for the further protection of the country and ending aggression.
We remind that on the night of July 12-13, Russian troops carried out drone attacks on localities in Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in casualties and material damage.
In the Synelnykove district, a 37-year-old man was injured. The enemy used a variety of weapons for the attack, including guided aerial bombs, drones, and rocket-artillery systems.
In recent days, Russia has conducted a significant number of drone strikes on the territory of Ukraine. President Zelensky expressed hope for support from partners to ensure the safety of the country and to end aggression.
