According to ХВИЛЯ: According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko, temperatures across Ukraine will drop over the coming weekend, accompanied by a heightened risk of thunderstorms, hail, and squalls. While most regions will see daytime highs between +17°C and +23°C on Saturday and Sunday, eastern and southeastern areas may still experience lingering heat up to +29°C on June 13.

On Friday, June 12, widespread thunderstorms are expected across the country. By Saturday, brief rain and thunderstorms will move into eastern Ukraine, spreading to western areas by evening. Sunday, June 14, will bring stormy weather to western, northern, central, and southern regions, while the east is forecast to remain dry.

Weather in Kyiv

Kyiv will see a dry Saturday, but rain and thunderstorms are expected on Sunday. Winds will be moderate but gusty from the northwest over the weekend, with daytime temperatures hovering around +20°C.

Didenko warned: 'Today there are many thunderstorms across Ukraine-check where you park your car, stay away from large structures, and protect your garden if possible, as hail is likely.'

The weekend forecast points to a significant shift in weather patterns, with cooler conditions and hazardous phenomena like thunderstorms and hail becoming a concern. These changes could impact daily activities, particularly agriculture and transportation. Authorities urge caution during heavy rain and strong winds to mitigate potential risks.

She added: 'Be careful. During thunderstorms, hail and squalls are possible.'

As the weather shifts this weekend, it's essential to stay informed about potential hazards. Recent reports indicate that thunderstorms and hail may also impact other regions, particularly in western Ukraine, creating a broader risk for severe weather across the country.
