Melovin hospitalized with severe depressive episode: what happened to the singer
According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian musician Melovin addressed his fans from the hospital, where he has been since the beginning of the week. He announced that he is suffering from a severe anxiety disorder with episodes of depression and paranoia. The artist explained that this condition was caused by sleepless nights, concerts, and stress at work in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
“I couldn't take it anymore, I snapped. And I was diagnosed, as before, with a severe anxiety disorder with a severe episode, a depressive state, and paranoia... But I will not go into details, let the doctors tell about it better,” – said Melovin.
Additionally, Melovin revealed that he was given a preliminary diagnosis of severe anxiety and depressive disorder. The artist will have to undergo long-term treatment, as he feels apathy and depression.
“Severe anxiety and depressive episodes according to clinical scales of anxiety and depression, high levels of anxiety and personal distress – all of this affects my health,” – explained Melovin.
The artist also urged his fans to support fundraising for children affected by the war who need help in maintaining mental health. He noted that his emotional and physical condition depends on the current circumstances of life and stresses, especially related to the war.
“Many things, especially those related to the war, military preparations, it's all stress for me. I ended up in the hospital because I feel like I'm dying. And I start having panic attacks,” – the artist shared.
Melovin has experienced states of anxiety and depression that led to his hospitalization. The artist called on fans to support children affected by the war and help with their mental health.
