Sports victories: Our gymnast conquered Israel, while 'Dynamo' was crowned in Ukraine

FC 'Dynamo Kyiv' was crowned Ukrainian champions for the first time since 2008/09 after defeating 'Dnipro' 1:0.

'Dnipro' secured its place in the UEFA Europa League final after a historic victory against 'Napoli' last Thursday, and coach Miron Markevich apparently decided to give several players a rest. While 'Dnipro' still has to defend Ukraine's honor on the international stage, Ukrainian gymnast Anna Rizatdinova has already succeeded. The Ukrainian athlete and team leader won two medals at the Grand Prix in Holon, Israel.

Rizatdinova excelled in the final for ribbon exercises. With a score of 18.434, the gymnast outperformed all professional competitors and secured first place. Additionally, the second place and silver medal went to Anna Rizatdinova in the apparatus with clubs (18.400). Our athlete was just a little short of a third medal - the bronze for the hoop exercise. Unfortunately, the Israeli gymnast Netta Rivkin surpassed the Ukrainian in this event.

Overall, the Ukrainian team won 6 medals at the Grand Prix in Israel.
