The Government Launches the 3000 km in Ukraine Program: How to Get Free Tickets

The government has supported a new initiative '3000 km in Ukraine', which will allow citizens to take trips for 3000 km during off-peak times. The program will start operating in test mode from December this year, with trips to frontline regions.

To take advantage of the program, it is necessary to download or update the 'Ukrzaliznytsia' app and book tickets by kilometers starting tomorrow. The first available trains include routes between Mykolaiv and Lviv, Kharkiv and Uzhhorod, as well as in children's compartments and second class Intercity+.

The program is aimed at supporting residents of frontline territories and it is planned to issue one million free train tickets within the initiative '3000 km in Ukraine'. All bonus kilometers can be used until the end of 2026.

This program not only stimulates the economy of the country but also promotes the growth of the population's mobility, which is important for the country's development.
