Ukrainian banks financed the energy sector with 32 billion: where projects were implemented

Credit statistics in the energy sector

From June 2024 to October 2025, banks allocated funds for such projects in the business sector:

• Development of generation in the energy sector by 1.239 GW;
• Energy storage and heat generation at 434 MW.

In total, projects aimed at restoring energy were supported in 21 regions for a total amount of 32.2 billion UAH. In particular, more than:

• 2 thousand business loans amounting to 30.2 billion UAH;
• 12 thousand loans to individuals for 2.0 billion UAH.

The total volume of 'energy' loans for legal entities as of November 1 amounted to 20.0 billion UAH, for individuals – 1.6 billion UAH.
