Students are already receiving educational grants in Diya: who and how can confirm

According to hvylya.net: The Ministry of Education has announced that students who enrolled in 2025 can now receive certificates for educational grants through the 'Diya' app. This process will last until October 25, and certificates will also be provided to students from last year’s enrollment.

According to the information, grants will be paid directly to the university account for tuition payment under the contract. To receive the grant, students need to have a confirmed certificate and a Ministry order for grant allocation. Students will receive the money directly.

Among those who will have the opportunity to receive a grant in the 2025/2026 academic year are first-year students of 2025 studying under a contract in full-time education and second-year students without debts, who are entitled to continued grant support.

At the same time, the grant amount for first-year students will depend on the National Youth Test results, while for second-year students, the grant amount will be increased proportionally to the rise in tuition costs, but no more than 12%, if the educational program remains the same.

Students need to check and update the 'Diya' app, wait for the certificate notification, confirm it by October 25, and monitor payment and academic performance. In case of a program or institution change, the grant can be reissued without loss.

Interestingly, it was previously announced that a panic button will be introduced in schools across the country to provide an additional level of security for students.
