Kharkiv can become the center of the Council of Europe's Damage Register: details of Terekhov's meeting

Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, Mathieu Mori, to discuss important issues such as the development of local self-government and the reconstruction of frontline communities. The mayor emphasized that Kharkiv is ready to become a platform for the establishment of a regional office of the Damage Register. Secretary General of the Congress, Mathieu Mori, supported the idea of the importance of the role of frontline cities in the recovery processes after the conflict, identifying them as key partners in working with the Damage Register and other recovery programs. It is also important to note that the Kharkiv City Council has signed a contract with Kyivstar for the analysis of the migration flows of the city's residents for a total amount of UAH 588,000, aimed at tracking the movement of Kharkiv residents within the city and the region.
