Heating Subsidies: Who Needs to Reapply by December 1

'Hvylya' reports that the heating season will begin on October 1, which means that some Ukrainians will have to reapply for utility subsidies. This news was spread by the press service of the Pension Fund.

According to the information provided, new applications for subsidies during the heating season must be submitted by those who are applying for the first time, as well as citizens whose subsidies were discontinued due to debts or lack of income. Those who have changed their family composition or social status, internally displaced persons receiving subsidies for rented housing, and individuals who are formally registered but do not actually reside in the housing for which they want to apply for a subsidy, also need to apply.

It is also worth remembering the deadlines: if one applies within two months of the start of the heating season, the subsidy will be calculated from the beginning; otherwise, assistance will be granted from the day of the application submission. Applications can be submitted in person, online, through the 'Diia' app, or via local authorities. We remind you that it was previously announced the introduction of the 'seventh' payment in Ukraine.
