Sunak commented on the information regarding possible cuts to aid for Ukraine

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will fully support Ukraine.

He urged not to believe rumors about possible cuts to aid, reports Sky News.

Sunak commented on the BBC report that he allegedly asked for an assessment of the course of the war in Ukraine. The Prime Minister urged attention to his actions.

He stated that his first international call in office was to President Volodymyr Zelensky, and his first foreign visit was to Kyiv.

'I am committed to maintaining or increasing our military support for Ukraine next year. Of course, we will continue to support Ukraine; I think we all would like Ukraine to successfully repel Russian aggression,' said Sunak.

The UK has confirmed the shipment of new precision-guided Brimstone 2 missiles to Ukraine.

Brimstone missiles are land or air-launched, developed by MBDA UK for the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom.

Air-to-ground and ground-to-ground missiles are designed to engage tanks, artillery systems, electronic warfare systems, small vessels, and landing ships.
