Saint Nicholas arrived in Ukraine across the border: how to meet him on December 6

According to glavcom.ua: Saint Nicholas visited Ukraine through the 'Rava-Ruska' checkpoint. Border guards processed his entry according to all regulations. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service.

Tomorrow, on December 6, at 10:00, the opening of Nicholas' residence is planned at the 'Rava-Ruska' checkpoint. All travelers crossing the border will be able to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere with a photo zone, Nicholas, and gifts for children.

Every child entering Ukraine at checkpoints in Lviv region on December 6 will receive a sweet gift and a festive postcard with a QR code. Scan the code, and Nicholas will personally greet you, even if you do not make it to his residence, reports the State Border Guard Service.

Let us remind you that according to the new church calendar, December 6 honors Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, also known as Nicholas the Benefactor or Nicholas the Winter.

Since September 1, 2023, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) have switched to the New Julian church calendar, so all fixed holidays are celebrated 13 days earlier.
