The National Academic Dramatic Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka received an unexpected gift from a fan - a large cake and half a thousand roses. The generous woman decided to make the theater staff happy so they could go home inspired and happy. Such an act amazed and touched the theater team, which celebrated this day with special words of gratitude on their Facebook page.

At the same time, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko attended the closing of the 99th season at the National Academic Dramatic Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka, where she watched the play 'Earth' based on Olga Kobylianska.

Also, on March 28, a performance 'Brothers' based on the Italian film 'Rocco and His Brothers' was presented at the theater. The director of the performance is the People’s Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Kobzar. The play tells the story of a widow and her four sons who move from a village to Milan to find a better life but face the harshness of reality.
