According to glavcom.ua: TikTok has sharply reduced the number of staff in its moderation department in the UK, relying on artificial intelligence. This trend reflects the overall replacement of humans with automated systems in social networks. Recently, a new British law came into effect that allows punishing online platforms for a lack of safety for users, especially minors.
In connection with this law, TikTok has blocked two accounts of pro-Russian politicians, including former MP Evgeniy Murayev, for spreading propaganda and misinformation that violate their rules.
