Mykola DMS helps to start life anew
Микола з Вовчанська: він підтримує людей у їхньому прагненні до нового початку.

Mykola is 56. He came from Vovchansk and became a displaced person. This man knows what it means to lose everything, but not to lose oneself.

Before the war, Mykola's life was ordinary - work, home, friends. But one day everything changed when the occupiers took him captive on May 30, 2022.

“Many moments remained in that phone. But life - it is in memory. And that cannot be taken away.”

After his release, Mykola moved to Kharkiv, where he started working again. His colleagues welcomed him warmly and helped him rebuild his life. Now he helps other displaced persons find support and start anew.

In his free time, Mykola goes fishing - it's a way for him to find peace. He believes that good always triumphs over darkness.
