Top 5 Banks in Ukraine in 2026

Ukrainian Business Award has published the ranking of banks in Ukraine for 2026. The evaluation considered the scale of the network, card and credit products, assets, capital, digital infrastructure, brand popularity, online audience, reviews, and expert assessments. This is reported by Ukrainian Business Award.

PrivatBank took first place with 100% of the rating points. The top five also includes Oschadbank, Sense Bank, PUMB, and OTP Bank.

1. PrivatBank - 100% of the UBA rating in 2026

PrivatBank became the leader of the ranking with a score of 17.47 points, or 100%. Its key advantages are scale and digital popularity: the bank has 985 branches, assets of 777.2 billion UAH, and a statutory capital of over 206 billion UAH. In three months, the website received 44.81 million visits, and the number of brand queries on Google was 2.76 million. UBA assessed the digital infrastructure with a maximum of 10 points, as did the expert jury.

2. Oschadbank - 66.1% of the UBA rating in 2026

Oschadbank scored 11.55 points, or 66.1% of the leader's result. Its main advantage is the largest physical network among the participants in the ranking, which includes 1091 branches. The bank has 16 card products, assets of 441.1 billion UAH, and nearly 49.5 billion UAH in statutory capital. In three months, the website had 10.91 million visits, and the digital infrastructure and expert assessment received 10 points each.

3. Sense Bank - 35.9% of the UBA rating in 2026

Sense Bank took third place with 6.28 points, or 35.9%. The institution has 123 branches and offers 16 card and 10 credit products. Assets amount to 117.9 billion UAH, and statutory capital is 28.7 billion UAH. Among its advantages is also high recognizability: over 366 thousand brand search queries were recorded. UBA assessed the digital infrastructure and expert evaluation at 9 points out of 10.

4. PUMB - 32.2% of the UBA rating in 2026

PUMB received 5.62 points, or 32.2%, and took fourth place. The bank operates through 203 branches and has assets of 182.8 billion UAH - the third result among participants in the ranking. PUMB also demonstrates high digital recognition: 524.2 thousand brand queries and 4.23 million website visits in three months. Experts rated the bank 9.7 points out of 10, and its presence on social media was rated at 9 points.

5. OTP Bank - 31.7% of the UBA rating in 2026

OTP Bank completed the top five with a score of 5.53 points, or 31.7%. Among its advantages is a developed credit line with 13 products, one of the highest figures in the ranking. The bank's assets amount to almost 101 billion UAH, and statutory capital is 6.19 billion UAH. The digital infrastructure received a maximum of 10 points, presence on social media 9 points, and the expert assessment was 9 points out of 10.
