According to МВС: Today marks three years since the death of police officer Viktor Mazurenko in Kherson.
Viktor Mazurenko was a true hero who dedicated nearly 20 years to police service. Since 2014, he participated in combat operations in the ATO zone, and in October 2022, he went to Kherson, where he died while on duty.
During a joint operation near the village of Fedorivka, a group of police officers fell into a landmine trap set by the occupiers. Viktor sustained severe injuries and, after a long struggle for life, passed away on December 16, 2022.
Viktor was only 41 years old and left behind a wife, daughter, and son. His magnificent sacrifice and courage will always be remembered, as will those who died as a result of Russian aggression.
May the earth rest lightly upon him, and may his family and loved ones find strength during this difficult time.
