In July of last year, a tragedy occurred at the 'Olenivka' camp – the Russians blew up a barrack with soldiers from the 'Azov' brigade. Anesthesiologist Yurik Mkrtchan, who was in captivity with the defenders of Mariupol at that time, recounted what happened at that terrible moment. Mkrtchan was providing assistance to the wounded defenders, working under difficult conditions. After the explosion, there were many injured, and the doctors could not handle such a number of casualties at once. Soon there was an evacuation, but disputes continue over the events of that night, as Russia does not allow a full investigation to be conducted. Ukraine demands a UN investigation to uncover the truth.
