Hero Ivan Kosarchin: the story of a Lviv resident who died for Ukraine at 28

Ivan Kosarchin died at the front on December 14, 2023, but his family was able to bury him only in August 2025. This was reported by

Ivan Kosarchin was born on October 1, 1995, in Lviv. He attended various educational institutions, starting at a music college and then at a university where he studied astrophysics. According to his relatives, he was a creative and cultural person who lived by music and words.

In 2014, Ivan Kosarchin joined the volunteer battalion 'Azov'. In the following years, he distinguished himself in the special forces of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces and actively participated in defending the country from Russian invaders.

At the family’s request, the farewell to the hero took place in a small circle. Ivan Kosarchin remained in the memory of his family, friends, and homeland as a person who dedicated his life to the fight for the freedom of Ukraine.
