According to Кулеба: Today in Bila Tserkva, construction has started on a residential complex for families from Mariupol who left their homes due to the war. This project is a joint effort of the Mariupol community, Kyiv region, businesses, urbanists, and international partners.

On an area of nearly 11 hectares, 16 buildings are planned to be constructed, which will accommodate over three thousand residents. The first phase of construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The residential quarter will be equipped with education, medical services, and other amenities. The total area of the new housing will exceed 46 thousand square meters.

“This project is an example of effective cooperation between the state, communities, businesses, and international organizations. This is how we create solutions that can be used in other cities in Ukraine.”

Funding for the project involves resources from the state and local budgets, as well as support from the European Union. The initiative combines a municipal housing fund and preferential mortgage loans for families dreaming of their own home.

The launch of the residential quarter for Mariupol residents in Bila Tserkva is an important step in the process of restoring the housing stock for people affected by the war in Eastern Ukraine. This project is an example of cooperation between the state, community, businesses, and international partners in implementing important social initiatives.
