The Bucha community has received a new resilience bus that can operate autonomously during emergencies and travel to remote settlements. The transport is equipped with power sources, satellite internet, a heating system, and essential supplies for residents. This was reported by the КП «Buchatransservis».

The resilience bus in Bucha will operate autonomously

The new mobile complex was handed over to the Bucha community by the French region of Île-de-France and the Kyiv regional military administration. Its main task is to support the population in case of emergencies, power outages, or other crisis situations.

The bus can function independently of external power sources. For this, it is equipped with an inverter generator, an uninterruptible power supply, and a power supply system for charging mobile devices.

In addition, the transport has received satellite internet, which will allow communication even in cases of damage to ground infrastructure.

What the new resilience bus is equipped with

For the comfort of people during emergencies, the bus is equipped with electric heaters. It also provides supplies of warm blankets, drinking water, and food packages inside.

Special attention has been paid to household needs. The interior features a refrigerator, a microwave oven, and a kettle, allowing the vehicle to be used as a mobile support point for an extended period.

The bus is also equipped with first-aid kits and tourniquets for providing first aid in emergencies.

The bus will be used for humanitarian missions

In the community, it is noted that the mobile complex will be deployed not only during emergencies but also for humanitarian outings to settlements that will require additional support.

Thanks to its autonomous equipment, the bus will be able to provide people with light, warmth, communication, and basic resources even during prolonged disruptions in critical infrastructure.

The transfer of such mobile support points has become part of the cooperation between Ukrainian communities and international partners aimed at strengthening the resilience of regions to potential crisis challenges.

Let us remind you that residents of Bucha can now track the movement of public transport in real time through their smartphones.
