In June, occupiers killed civilians
У червні, численні втрати серед мирного населення досягли найвищого рівня за останні три роки війни - дані ООН.

In June 2025, a tragedy occurred - 232 civilians were killed, and 1343 were injured due to the Russian invasion. This statistic is the highest in the last year. Most of the victims (53%) were affected by missile strikes and drone attacks in cities, particularly in Dnipro, Kyiv, and Kharkiv.

The Russians launched 10 times more missiles and kamikaze drones this month compared to June 2024. Ongoing attacks by small drones continue to affect frontline areas, especially in the Kherson and Donetsk regions. In total, casualties have been recorded in 16 regions of Ukraine and the capital. Most of the victims were in Ukrainian-controlled territory, where more than 98% of the civilian casualties occurred.

As reported, Russian invaders deliberately target civilians with FPV drones, which is becoming an increasingly common occurrence.

A particular problem has been attacks on energy facilities. At least 13 attacks on Ukrainian territory and 7 on occupied areas caused massive power outages and the implementation of planned outages in Kherson. In a night attack, the Russians struck the city of Kyiv using ballistic and guided missiles.

The events of June 2025 indicate a sharp escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, where Russian aggression has led to the highest number of civilian casualties in the last year. Attacks on energy infrastructure deepen the humanitarian crisis in the region, causing massive power outages and worsening living conditions for residents in the conflict zone.
